Biography

Hi, I'm Nathan Stubbs and I have been a PGA Golf Professional for 20 years and I am the owner of the Canberra Golf Studio.

I grew up in Kilcoy, a small town in South East Queensland. Living on the back of the 7th hole of the local golf course, it was hard not to fall in love with the game. I spent most of my spare time hitting golf balls and dreaming of becoming a professional golfer.

I completed my Traineeship at Indooroopilly Golf Club in Brisbane in 2004 and after a short stint playing professionally decided to start focusing my career on Golf Operations & Coaching. I have spent my time over the years working in Golf Clubs across Australia, focussing on coaching, club fitting and running Pro shops since 2008.

I am certified TPI Level 2 Golf Coach, Level 2 Trackman & Level 2 Capto Putting Certified and have extensive experience in Custom Club Fittings. I have a strong passion for coaching golfers of all levels of the game; beginners, juniors, advanced and the weekend warrior!

Personally, I have 2 young sons Rory (4), Lenny (20 months) and another little one on the way. We have recently moved to the area to be closer to family and settle our kids into school as my fiance Sarah grew up in Queanbeyan.
