Playing at Fairbairn
Play and Payment of Appropriate FeesAll play is to proceed at the direction of Club staff, and patrons are required to adhere to any instructions provided by staff. Players must report to the staff inside the Clubhouse at least 15 minutes prior to commencing their round and pay the appropriate fees. GA members from another golf club must pay the green fee and competition fee if applicable. |

Player's ResponsibilitiesPlayers should monitor their bookings and cancel out any tee times not required as early as possible to provide access for fellow members. Members should not book tee times for others unless they are confident these other players are available to play. A maximum of four players per single group is permitted and each player must have their own set of golf clubs. Groups of more than 4 may be asked to leave the course by the Course Marshal. All golfers are responsible for damage/injury caused to any property/carts or people on the golf course. Please do not hit up on the group in front of you - it is etiquette to call out "Fore" if your ball is heading their way in error. Please be familiar with the Local Rules and adhere to our course Etiquette & Dress Code standards which include tips for quick, safe play and course maintenance. Any golfers found to be acting in an irresponsible or dangerous manner may be asked to leave the premises/golf course by the staff/Course Marshal. |

Weather PolicyIn the event of lightning in the area of the course a hooter will sound 3 times. Players are required to mark their ball (if intending to continue play later) and, for their safety, immediately return to the clubhouse until play resumes. Carts will not be allowed on the course if the frost policy has been implemented. Please check with staff if unsure. Play is not recommended in extremely hot weather (>38°C). However, it is up to the individual to consider the impact of their decision to play and to remain hydrated during play. |
